Description
FeCrAl alloys are Iron-Chromium-Aluminium materials specifically developed for high-temperature electric heating elements. They form a dense, protective Aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃) layer on the surface that ensures excellent oxidation resistance, long service life and stable performance at elevated temperatures.
Maximum continuous element operating temperature: 1400C
Electrical resistivity (20°C): 1.45 Ω·mm2 m-1
Density: 7.1 g/cm³
Emissivity in fully oxidized condition: 0.7
Magnetic – Curie point: 600C
Composition: 22% Cr – 5.8% Al – Balance Fe
