Description
The Resistance Heating Alloys are divided in two major groups:
- Ferritic Aloys, Iron-Chromium- Aluminum, (FeCrAl) and
- Austenitic Alloys, Nickel-Cromium (NiCr, Nicrothal).
Other Alloys, as for example Cupper-Nickel, are used for lower operating temperature. Ferritic Alloys (FeCrAl) have maximum operating temperature in air of 1425C while Austenitic Alloys (NiCr) have maximum temperature of 1200C.
Thermansys is not the producer of these wires.
IMPORTAND NOTE: Resistance wire distributed by Thermansys is considered as a raw material for various heating applications. The proper and safe operation of heaters or other heating modules, constructed by end user, like coils for rebuildable atomizers, depend on a lot of design parameters and are totally on the responsibility of the end user. Thermansys cannot guaranty proper or safe operation.
